Getting to Cuckfield
Cuckfield is a village and civil parish in the Mid-Sussex district of West Sussex, on the southern slopes of the Weald. It lies 34 miles (55 km) south of London, 13 miles (21 km) north of Brighton and 31 miles (50 km) east northeast of the county town of Chichester. Nearby towns include Haywards Heath to the southeast, Burgess Hill and Lewes to the south.
By Road
Cuckfield lies just north of the A272 on the B2036. It is less than 2 miles (3 km) east of M23/A23 London Orbital (M25) to Brighton link.
From the north take exit 10A and follow signs to Cuckfield; from south (Brighton) take exit for A272 and follow signs for Haywards Heath / Cuckfield.
By Rail
Haywards Heath is the nearest mainline station with regular and fast links to London, Gatwick and Brighton. There is a taxi rank outside the main entrance/exit. Bicycles may be taken on the trains for a greener transportation option. Balcombe and Burgess Hill stations are nearby. Southern and Thameslink services call at all 3 stations while Gatwick Expresses does not call at Balcombe.
By Bus
Metrobus and Compass Travel both operate services through Cuckfield.

By Air
Gatwick Airport is some 17 miles to the north of Cuckfield and is easily reached by taxi or by train from Gatwick South Terminal into Haywards Heath where a short taxi ride will take you into Cuckfield itself.
